Short Speech on Nature

Have you guys ever wondered the reasons behind our existence? How we survive? What makes us alive? Today I will make you realize the importance of nature. Good morning everyone! Today I got a golden opportunity to stand In front of all the teachers and fellow students and give a speech on nature.

Air is a mixture of different gases. It is present all around the Atmosphere. The most important component in the air is oxygen. Oxygen leads us to breathe. Movement of air is called wind. Winds run windmills which produce electricity. It is one of the cheapest and economical sources of generating electricity. It also helps sound to travel.

Water not only helps to quench your thirst. It also maintains a different world known as “aquatic world”. It is home of fishes and different plants. It covers 73% surface of Earth. It is present in different forms like sea, lake, ponds etc.

Trees are a true friend of human as well as of animals and birds. They give shelter to the bird. They provide us fruits, vegetables, rubber, wood, etc. They also bring rain. They control soil erosion. They also provide oxygen. Even some plants or trees can cure diseases. For example, chewing a few leaves of Tulsi plant on regular basis makes the immune system strong and so on.

Birds and animals are the one plays the biggest role in continuing the food chain. Animal-like sheep give wool, the cow gives milk, hen gives eggs etc. They also help in transferring seeds of different plants to different places from which a plant takes birth.

Every compound of nature plays a big role in a human’s existence. I have given glimpses about nature in my speech. And I hope somewhere I have made you understood the importance of nature. But as developmentis taking place we are harming our environment. For little profit, we are giving up a big part of nature.

So, I would like to end up my speech with a request that we should think for our environment too and try not to harm it by reducing the use of plastic, planting more trees, not wasting papers, sustainable development, etc.

Thank you! For hearing out my speech and giving your crucial time.
