Short Speech on Importance of Trees

Good morning respected teachers and students. Today I am going to present to you a small speech on Importance of trees. Trees give us life and they are also a source of oxygen. They make the air fresh and consume CO2 in this context. So they are very important in our life. Without them, we cannot survive.

We all should understand their importance and contribute seriously to save and grow them. In this way, our earth will become green and beautiful. We can live a healthy life. Trees are known as Green gold of the earth. They are sources for both health and wealth as they give us fresh air, medicine, wood, furniture, water and shadow. I mean just name a thing and it will be connected to the trees. They have a major role in keeping the air unpolluted as they consume all the CO2 which is toxic.

Many people survival depend on trees as they run paper or rubber industries. So the raw material in both cases is wood that is obtained from trees. They also bring rain by attracting the clouds. The forests are home for the wild life.so basically trees are friends of humans. They are online dustbins to clean the environment from toxic gases. They provide us natural shadow and cooling effect when compared to artificial cooling stuff.

Moreover, with the global warming, we all should understand the importance of trees. Their cutting should be banned. More and more trees should be planted by everyone, save trees motto should be followed by everyone. It’s also reported that respiratory diseases are very less in those areas where tree coverage is very thick. The sedimentation rate is slowed down by them and they also solve the land problem of soil erosion.

Oxygen and water are the two basic sources for life on earth. But we cannot ignore the fact that trees are the sources which bring water and oxygen to the earth. By destroying forests we are destroying the natural flora and the healthy environment on our planet. Human beings are very intelligent organism so we should all save this green gold of the earth.
