Without fear, sorrow, or illness, people enjoyed perfect happiness. Everyone lived in harmony with one another. The four pillars of religion-truth, purity, mercy, and charity-remain firm throughout the world. No one was poor and no one was unfortunate. Goats and lions lived together in peace.
There was such peace at that time. The above conditions demonstrate the contrast between western society and peace loving humanity. We find in literature and history many examples of war hardening the human spirit.

Olden days, war was governed by the “laws of war”. Men learn self-control in war, fulfill their promise not to destroy public property and not to harm innocent people. They were able to maintain peace even during war because of this practiced self-control.

War passes, peace succeeds. And men will remember the wars of the past-the wars of the Greeks and the Romans, of Europe and Napoleon, of Japan, China, America-as dreams of awful times in history, but times that will never be repeated.
