Tigers are unique animals, and they play an integral role in the diversity of the ecosystem.
Today, tigers are endangered, and their extinction would demonstrate an unprotected ecosystem that would also not exist for a long time after that. So, the question now lies, “What would happen if tigers suffer extinction?” Let’s take the example of Dodos, a species that suffered extinction in Mauritius. When that happened, a species of the Acacia trees stopped regenerating entirely. Tiger has been declared the national animal of India to so that even one instance of tiger poaching or hunting will be seen as an unpatriotic act and the punishment is severe.
Save tiger has a special place of importance for India as a land of Tigers and we must be committed to it. It is not just about protecting a beautiful animal. We should contribute to saving the lives of tigers so that we can also live just a little longer, thanks to the ecological services provided by forests such as clean air, temperature regulation, and water.
