Autobiography of a School Bag – Short Essay

Hello, I am a bag. But I am not an ordinary bag. I am a school bag and this is my autobiography. Check it out.

My main purpose in life is to transport many school materials such as books and pencil cases.

I can be made from a different kind of fiber. I can exist in many different shapes and colors. I can have different names such as backpack, rucksack or handbags.

Early life

was born in one factory in the early seventies of the 20th century. My first owner was a boy named Tommy. My color was army green and my intention was for the soldiers. I didn’t have many friends at that time since we were not popular in school. I was made from nylon. My owner didn’t like me. His parents wanted that he carries me to school, but he refused. I went out only a couple of times. And then one day he left to college and I stayed in the house, alone and forgotten.

Mille, the second owner

The eighties come. One day, a new family has come to the house where I lived. One girl found me. Her name was Mille. At that time, many kids wore school bags, so Mille decided to take me out. She was really wonderful. She carried a lot of books in school and I was glad to help her. And not just that. Mille carried me everywhere – to picnics, on hiking and social meetings. She usually wore me on one shoulder.

I was Mille’s best friend until the end of the college. At that time I was very old and tired. It was time to take a rest. Mille put me in her closet were I spend the last days of my life.
