The newly designed website for National Commission for Women is live now and the new website address is ncw.nic.in. NCW is a statutory body of Government of India which advises govt. on all policy matters affecting women. Now, all the harassed women can also register their complaints online at the official NCW web portal.

National Women’s Commission chairperson Rekha Sharma has announced the launch of this website on 12 December 2018. This NCW web portal will consistently contribute in the upliftment of women and to provide them with their rights.

NCW was established in January 1992 under the provisions of the Indian Constitution, as defined in the 1990 National Commission for Women Act.

Below is the complete procedure to register complaint at the new web portal of National Commission for Women:-

  • Firstly visit the official website ncw.nic.in
  • At the homepage, scroll over the “NCW Applications” and click at the ‘Online Complaint Registration’ link or directly click this link
  • Next, click at the “Click Here for Registration of Complaint” link to open the National Commission for Women Complaint Registration Form as shown below:-

  • Finally, click at the “Submit” button to complete the complaint registration process at the NCW portal.
  • Moreover, candidates can make Login to check the application status.

Women candidates must check the Instructions before filing the online complaint. The objective of the NCW is to represent the rights of women in India and to provide a voice for their issues and concerns.

The major concerns includes dowry, politics, religion, equal representation for women in jobs and the exploitation of women for labour, political abuses against women. The NCW commission regularly publishes a monthly newsletter named Rashtra Mahila in both Hindi and English.
