Swami Vivekananda

Swami Vivekananda was born on 12th January 1863 in Kolkata. He was one of the most well-educated persons and a great social worker of the English period.

He did a lot for society as he educated a lot of people about the social evils in the country and tried to vanish a lot of social evils. He was an essential part of Brahmo Samaj, and we all are very much aware of the fact that how well Brahmo Samaj did for the betterment of Indians.

He had a great education of a lot of subjects, and he shared his education with a lot of people all around the world. He made sure that a lot of schools and colleges gets opened in different parts of the country and many of those schools and colleges are still doing very good.

Many freedom fighters have acclaimed that it was Swami Vivekananda who blew the light of freedom firstly, and then he handed it over to various freedom fighters of the country.

According to a lot of people, he was the savior of Hindu religion.. He stood up for Hindus and did a lot of works which again made a good position among the Hindus in the society. He had made some special strategies to save Hinduism, and that is why lots of other countries started opposing him.

He was also an artist who wrote lots of poems and songs and a few essays as well. Famous poet Rabindranath Tagore had said that if somebody really wants to know about India, he should read Vivekananda for it.

In case somebody doesn’t know, his real name was Narendranath Datta, and he was called Swami Vivekananda for the special works he did for the country.
