Mother tongue is a language that we learn from our mother or should we say that mother tongue is a language that our mother speaks. The mother tongue has great importance in everyone’s life and no matter whether your mother tongue is the first language of your country or not, you should never forget your mother tongue.

Various researches say that everything that a lad learn in his mother language or first language, he understands and learns it quicker than any other thing that he learns in any other language.

One can clearly see that if the person has a great hold on his mother tongue, he will learn all the other languages with a lot of ease and this fact is proven scientifically at various locations.

A mother tongue represents the culture and the society that you are living in, and it doesn’t matter at which part of the country you are living in, you should never forget about your culture, heritage and the societywho gave you birth.

Let’s take an example, few of our ministers made our country proud in previous few years because they spoke in our native language Hindi at International meetings even when they had full control of English language. This gesture of those ministers made all us Indians proud because our native language Hindi was getting represented at a global level.

The morals, manners, and ethics of your country can only be learned from your native language as if you use western language in most of your works, you will start forgetting your native language, and you will also start forgetting about the manner that you learned in your initial stages. All this has great side effects because learning other languages can earn you more, but you can become a better human being through the use of your native language only.

Though, mother tongue is very important for every individual, it is quite visible that people around the world are forgetting the use of their native language.
