JNVST Admit Card Class 6 Dates

The admit card will be made available with effect from 1st December 2021 and 1st March 2022 in respect of phase 1 and phase 2 class VI JNVST 2021 respectively on the application portal which shall be downloaded free of cost by the candidates/parents before the conduct of JNVST.

NVS will then announce the result which is supposed to be published by the last week of May. The outcome will be announced on the official website of the Samiti and will also be issued in the local newspapers and presented in the concerned offices.

JNVST Exam Center

Each candidate shall appear for the selection test at the examination center allotted to him/her as indicated on the Admit Card. No candidate is permitted to appear from any other center. No request for a change of center will be entertained. No candidate can appear in the selection test without a proper Admit Card. JNVST Important Instructions

• JNVST Admit Card 2020 For Phase 1 exam is available now on the official portal.
• Applicants/Guardians can download the admit card free of cost from the official website of NVS.
• Parents of the applicants should download the admit card on time to dodge the last-minute hassle.
• All the candidates must bring the admit card to the examination center on the day of the  examination.
• Any candidate without the admit will not be allowed to enter the exam hall.
• Admit Card should not be destroyed or damaged. The information stated it should be visible.
• Applicants must follow every instruction before and during the exam.
• No request for a change of center will be accepted.
• Applicants must reach the examination center at least half an hour before the start of the exam.
• Applicants are suggested to have the admit card safe till the admission procedure gets finished. Hence, they must take multiple printouts of the same.
• Applicants must not bring any abandoned thing to the exam hall. Only the admit card and a blue or black pen are allowed. The use of a pencil is forbidden.

About NVS Class 6 Admissions

In accordance with the National Policy of Education (1986), Government of India started Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs). Presently the JNVs are spread in 28 States and 07 Union Territories. These are co-educational residential schools fully financed and administered by the Government of India through an autonomous organization, Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti.

Admissions in JNVs are made through the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) to Class VI. The medium of instruction in JNVs is the mother tongue or regional language up to Class VIII and thereafter English for Mathematics and Science and Hindi for Social Science. Students of the JNVs appear for board examinations of the Central Board of Secondary Education. While education in the schools is free including board & lodging, uniform and textbooks, a sum of Rs. 600/- per month is collected only from the students of Classes IX to XII towards Vidyalaya Vikas Nidhi. However, students belonging to SC/ST categories, all Girl students and the students whose family income is below the poverty line (BPL) are exempted.

In respect of wards of Government employees other than exempted category (Students of classes VI to VIII, all SC/ST & girl students and wards of BPL families) Vikas Nidhi will be charged at Rs.1500/- per month or actual children education allowance received by the parent per month whichever is less. However, VVN shall not be less than Rs.600/- per student per month.
