Essay on Right to Education

Right to Education

The right to education is a human right which means that everyone in this world has the right to education and nobody should be kept away from this great form gathering knowledge due to some issues.

It gets noticed that a lot of places around the world, even in India, education has still not reached and till the time our countrymen don’t get educated, we cannot call ourselves a developed country.

Right to education can further get explained by the following points:

Availability – The right to education means that education should reach places where none of the people got an education. In India, there are hundreds of villages the people of which are not educated and they don’t even like to get educated. In a lot of villages, the people are still happy for not getting educated. But seminars should get conducted to make their interest in education and it is possible that they show this kind of behavior because they never had any educational source near them before.

Acceptability – Acceptability is a key term in the right to education which means that caste or gender discrimination should never exist in education and it should remain the same for every caste and creed no matter whether one is Hindu, Sikh, Muslim or Christian. When the acceptability terms get owned by people of India, one will see a huge improvement in the education system of the country.

Accessibility – It gets noticed that students who have the money to purchase various books generally get provided with the best material but the poor one has to satisfy with normal study material only. Accessibility means that if someone can access the highest level of educational material with money, it should also made available for the poor one too so that level of education for the rich and the poor would be the same.

Adaptability – Everyone knows that people of India speak different languages, stay in different kinds of climate and culture. So, education should get provided in a manner that people around the country don’t get any problem while educating themselves. Adaptability becomes a key term in the right to education in a country like India where a number of communities are available.

So, right to education is the key term around the world and every country is making sure that their students are getting the necessary secondary education no matter how tough it is to provide education to someone. So, availability, accessibility, acceptability and adaptability are the keys for the right to education.
