Essay on Freedom Fighters

We see a lot of movies daily and love lots of heroes. But most of us don’t remember our real heroes. The real heroes of our country were, are and will always be the freedom fighters that fought with all they had to make sure that India gets independence.

There are a number of freedom fighters that we hear and talk about daily, but very few of them get memorized every day. There are a number of freedom fighters about whom people don’t even know anything about. So, here are some of the freedom fighters which didn’t get the name that they deserved:

Mangal Pandey – Mangal Pandey was the first person who had the guts to go against the British government. Mangal Pandey got born on 19th of July 1827, and it gets known that the ignition to go against British government got provided by Mangal Pandey.

Bipin Chandra Pal – Bipin Chandra Pal got born on 7th November 1858, and he was the one who advocated for the abandonment of foreign materials. He worked with names like Lala Lajpat Rai, Bal Gangadhar Tilak, etc. and made sure that all the efforts are getting made from his side as well as from other Indians so that India can get independence soon. He has some great revolutionary thoughts, and that is why he gets called as the father of revolutionary thoughts.

Chandra Shekhar Azad – He along with Bhagat Singh and company were the persons who actually stood up against the British government and made sure that the internal peace of British government gets vanished. British people were very irritated from Azad because they were not able to catch him alive.

Khudiram Bose – People like Bhagat Singh and Sukhdev gets memorized the most, but no one knows about Khudiram Bose. Khudiram Bose got born on 3 December 1889, and he was from one of those youngsters who wanted to stand against the British government and wanted the freedom of India. He got successful too as he stood against the government and looking at him a lot of Indians were moved and stepped ahead to go against the government. Unfortunately, he got caught and martyred just at the age of 19 on 11th August 1908.

Ram Prasad Bismil – ram Prasad Bismil got born on 11th June 1897, and he is famous for his involvement in famous Kakori train robbery. He was the companion of Bhagat Singh and team. He worked for the independence of India in a great manner but got sentenced to death by the British government.

Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel – People should know about the value of Sardar Patel and why the statue got made. The iron man of India was a famous lawyer, but he gave up his profession just to make sure that the country is getting the independence very soon. His works didn’t finish with the independence of India, post-independence, he got selected as the deputy PM of India, and he worked for the peace inside the country.

These were some unsung heroes for the independence of the country. People don’t really remember them, but they should know that all of the above played a huge role in bringing the country to a stage at which it is now.
