Rajasthan government has raised the financial assistance for school girls under the Aapki Beti Scheme on 30 May 2019. Under Aapki Beti Yojna, govt. will now provide an increased amount of assistance to school girls (Class 1st to 8th or Class 9th to 12th) in government schools. All the interested students who wish to avail hiked assistance can apply online by downloading the Rajasthan Aapki Beti Yojana Form PDF. Now financial assistance has been raised by CM Ashok Gehlaut by Rs. 1,000.
Under the Aapki Beti scheme, girls living under the Below Poverty Line (BPL) whose mother or father or both have died gets annual financial assistance in the state. The amount has been increased to Rs. 2100 from Rs. 1100 for the girls studying in class 1 to 8. For girls in class 9 to 12, the financial aid has been increased to Rs. 2500 from Rs 1500.
Similarly, the ex-gratia payment to the families of polling personnel who die during election duty is also increased to Rs 20 lakh from Rs 15 lakh.
Rajasthan Aapki Beti Yojna Financial Assistance Raised
The important features and highlights of the decision to raise the financial assistance for school girls are given below:-
- Under Aapki Beti Yojana in Rajasthan, all the girls studying in class 1st to 8th in state run government schools were getting Rs. 1100 as financial assistance. Now these girls would get Rs. 2100.
- All the girl students studying in Class 9th to 12th in various state run govt. schools were getting Rs. 1500 as financial assistance under Aapki Beti Scheme in Rajasthan. Now school girls of govt. schools studying in class 9th to 12th will get Rs. 2500.
- Till the 2018-19 academic year, there was no hike in the financial assistance being given to these school girls.
- But from the FY 2019-20, all the school girls would now get an increased amount as financial assistance.
- Under Rajasthan Aapki Beti Scheme 2019, the state govt. provides financial assistance to school girls belonging to below poverty line (BPL) families whose mother & father both or one of the parents die.
आपकी बेटी योजना के तहत अब तक राजकीय विद्यालय में कक्षा 1 से 8 में अध्ययनरत बालिकाओं को 1100 रुपये तथा कक्षा 9 से 12 में अध्ययनरत बालिकाओं को 1500 रुपये की आर्थिक सहायता मिल रही थी।

अब बालिकाओं को सत्र 2019-20 से बढ़ी हुई आर्थिक सहायता राशि प्राप्त होगी। आपकी बेटी योजना के तहत गरीबी रेखा से नीचे जीवन यापन करने वाले परिवारों की राजकीय विद्यालयों में अध्ययनरत ऐसी बालिकाओं को आर्थिक सहायता प्रदान की जाती है जिनके माता-पिता दोनों अथवा किसी एक का निधन हो गया हो।
